We made our own mitten and put in each animal in the order they went into the mitten after reading The Mitten by Jan Brett
You can have your child retell the story at home with the animals while reading the book!

Writing Objectives: Narrative Writing – (detail)-Add more sentences with adjectives.  Use a capital letter to start every sentence, finger space between words and punctuation at the end of each sentence.
